Onion.io has produced a $5 tiny Linux computer that's designed for Internet of Things applications. Onion calls the Omega2 the "World's smallest Linux server, with Wi-Fi built-in." The device has a 580 MHz CPU, 64MB of RAM, 16MB of flash storage. and integrated IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi, and supports programming in widely used languages like C, Python, Javascript, PHP, and Node.JS.
